a design engineer shall visit a room to
be air-conditioned. Ask him for a written
complete list of services to be provided,
including prices. Ask him who will provide
warranty and after-sales services of the
equipment installed and in what way.

activities agreed by the Parties before, including
periods for completion of the above activities,
and the company’s liability in case
of equipment failure. |

the air-conditioner carefully and without
haste. Life-time of your air-conditioner
in many respects depends on quality of
their work. Accepting the work completed,
ask the installation specialists to
demonstrate you basic operation modes
of the air-conditioner. |

after-sales services are not the same.
The installation firm provides warranty service.
Reputable firms never undertake to provide
warranty service of an air-conditioner
installed by no-one-knows-whom. As a rule,
warranty period for the air-conditioner
is not more than a year.
After-sales service is routine
servicing required to maintain
main parameters of operation
during the air-conditioner’s
lifetime specified by the
manufacturer.
Both warranty and after-sales services
of air-conditioners require high level
skills of specialists and expensive
diagnostic equipment that can be
provided by specialized air-conditioning
firms only. |
